No you dont you need the AMOUNT of materials the item you want to craft asks for.īut in reality a new character needs to USE the JUNK to CRAFT lots of pipe weapons hunting rifles shotguns etc. Whether you want to pay for the right to use it, that's another issue.īut you need the materials to build things like ur base, weapons, armor, etc etc. Well, and I think it was what "hobo misanthropus" wanted to say with his pun-filled message. This item was made available for free to everyone some time ago (during a free weekend where I played the game before owning it), and I was able to play around with it - although I had hardly enough items to check its fill limits. The "catch" of the scrapbox is that it is only usable by fallout 1st subscribers if your subscription expires, your items will still be there, but you won't be able to pile up more. I don't see a problem in storing lots of scrap materials just to have them handy when you need to craft, but some people seem to hate it as I read this thread. There you can store an unlimited (or nearly unlimited) amount - of scrap material, exactly what you want to "hoard". ![]()
